Independent advisory for senior leaders navigating AI strategy, vendor selection, architecture, and governance. No bench, no juniors — the person you talk to is the person who does the work.
Start a conversation →I help leadership teams cut through vendor noise and make evidence-based decisions about where AI can create real value — evaluating whether to build, buy, or use managed services.
I assess AI vendors and tools against your specific requirements, run properly measured trials, and support commercial negotiations from a position of technical knowledge.
I design AI solutions and review existing architectures for use cases that end up being implemented by your internal teams, systems integrators, or specialist partners.
I benchmark your team's current capabilities, help select the right people for open roles, and design AI-powered ways of working within organisational constraints.
I help establish practical governance frameworks that manage risk without stalling adoption — including policies, review processes, and evaluation criteria for emerging AI capabilities.
Bajanov Advisory is deliberately a one-person practice. I'm not selling a platform or building production systems. I help you work out what to invest in, what to avoid, and what questions to ask before you commit.
No account managers, no project coordinators. You get direct access to 20 years of hands-on experience in data science and AI leadership.
I partner well with implementation teams and change management specialists who handle the people side. What I bring is the technical depth they typically don't have.
Every recommendation is grounded in commercial reality. I've held P&L accountability, led major negotiations, and built pricing solutions deployed across 10 countries.
Before starting this practice, I spent over 20 years at Quantium as one of the firm's earliest employees. My most recent role was Executive, AI Transformation, where I led the enterprise-wide programme to embed AI across Quantium's global operations.
I'm a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and hold a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies (Honours) from the Australian National University. I've served as an expert witness in Federal Court proceedings, including ACCC v Trivago N.V. [2020] FCA 16.
I sit on External Advisory Committees for data science courses at Western Sydney University and the actuarial studies programme at ANU.
I'm available for advisory engagements, expert witness work, and speaking. Based in Sydney, working with clients across Australia.
